Over-the-counter love

Bite your lips till bleeding
Make a thousand calls still pleading
You’d placed your coin in the wrong trade
After the transaction the client is degrade

The courtroom can’t trace your papers
Your involvement only if sheets confide and the diapers
At youth when we're free like that dove
At mid-age we cry we cry for passing
A coin for the over-the-counter love

The user ever busy like the yahoo server
Ever on that mall trading one or the other lover
Rules simple shake hands after abuse
Over-the-counter love got simplest of the rules

Some trade for months, most never see the dawn
Trade moves offices with every chime of the clock
Smart traders live, though most live to mourn
Over-the-counter love, that shop with no stock.

  1. Over-the-counter-love
    a hand-shake in a dimly lit theatre
a touch of face marooned in disco lights
trade where buyer has no rights
    just short time pleasure
to ease the back-at-home marital pressure
